Support for volunteers

The Team Hexham volunteer hub offers details of local volunteering opportunities which can be accessed by going to the volunteer registration page and filling out the necessary information. Once you have registered, you will be able to select your skills and interests and see suggested matches. From your list of suggested matches you will be able to express an interest in roles by making direct contact with the organisation. You can also update your profile where necessary.

Vacancies are regularly updated and new opportunities are added on an ongoing basis so do check the Team Hexham website often. We also offer periodical email updates/newsletters, so please sign up for those at the bottom of the page if you’d like to be notified.

Team Hexham acts as the provider of information but does not have the capacity to directly manage individual relationships between volunteers and organisations. Therefore, if you have a concern or query about an opportunity or are experiencing a delay in receiving responses etc. we would ask you to please try and resolve the issue directly with the organisation in the first instance. However, if you feel that an organisation is behaving in a manner that is clearly in breach of the expectations we might reasonably have, then please contact us on and we will review this as soon as possible.


Support for organisations

Team Hexham will assist organisations who need volunteers by supporting recruitment through the promotion of opportunities through our Team Hexham volunteer hub. Organisations can register on our volunteer hub directly and add their vacancies by going to the registration page and then clicking the ‘register as an organisation’ button.
